Sun Wave Stained Glass Window

by Timothy Atwood

"Sun Wave" © stained glass window

Inspired by the sun and waves seen from the home for which this window was commissioned. Transformed into sweeping geometric curves counterbalanced by the strong vertical lines and textures.*

The window includes two special sandblasted tiles representing the zodiac signs of the home owners.

Copper channel between glass adds to the grace and class of the window.

The image to the right shows the computer generated design used to approve this window with the clients.

In much this same way I can work with you from the preliminary design ideas through to final design approval. I can show you variations on the design. Many designs can be approved completely through email and the Internet with fewer surprises for you and myself. See:

Copper came also provides greater structural strength than traditional lead came. Combined with the double strength copper outside framing, this means the window meets demanding structural requirements.
